MAVERICK
The FX Maverick is a brand-new platform for FX Airguns. A rifle purpose built from the ground up with heavier pellet and slug shooting in mind. The Maverick features the largest power plenum yet on an FX rifle with the latest FX innovation, dual regulators!
The Dual FX AMP Regulators is brilliant in its concept and execution. The first regulator pre-reduces the pressure in preparation for the second regulator. This provides less stress on the second regulator and achieves a more constant output pressure with less standard deviations. Both AMP Regulators can be adjusted externally and should be adjusted in harmony with each other (maintaining a 30-40 BAR difference between the 1st & 2nd regulator).
The Dual Regulators work in tandem with the large 89cc Power Plenum. This large plenum, paired proportionately with the correct porting and valving, allows for a more consistent working pressure to be delivered. FX Maverick owners also have the option of picking up the FX Maverick Slug Power Kit. This kit includes a heavier hammer and slug Maverick FX는 무엇인가 pin probes that allow for even more power and velocities for heavier projectiles.
The Maverick utilizes the same rear power adjuster that was first introduced with the FX Wildcat MKIII. This breakthrough hammer adjuster allows for both micro and macro adjustments using the same dial which allows the Maverick to be fully adjusted in harmony with the Dual AMP Regulators for the chosen Maverick FX는 무엇인가 caliber and projectile.
Like all modern FX Airguns, the Maverick utilizes the world class Smooth Twist X (STX) Interchangeable Barrel & Liner System. All FX Mavericks ship with Superior STX Standard liners perfect for shooting pellets, hybrid slugs and lighter weight slugs. Additional liners are available to tailor to different projectiles. The Maverick has a more tactical body which will allow for aftermarket components to be added for further customization. All Mavericks have 20 MOA built into the picatinny scope rail, multiple picatinny accessory rails, standard AR grips and feature the newly designed rear FX buttpad. The FX Maverick is an innovative customizable platform with the FX world class accuracy and adjustability you have come to expect. It delivers all the accuracy and power that the FX Impact offers, but at a lower price point. The Maverick itself will remind shooters of both the FX Impact and FX Wildcat. Like a perfect blend of the two rifles, it offers the absolute best of both worlds.

FX Maverick Review: Out-of-the-Box Precision
I tested the FX Maverick on everything from small game to small feral pigs. And while this bullpup is a deadly and accurate hunting air rifle, it also surprised me by how well it performed at the range. Out of the box, this gun is accurate, and it doesn’t require much tuning but still has the capability to do so. It’s not as adjustable as other FX models, but the Maverick utilizes two dual AMP regulators, which allows for more consistent accurate shots. This means you can feel confident shooting this airgun in the field or on the bench. So, if you’ve been looking for one that excels at both, then the FX Maverick merits serious consideration.
FX Maverick Specs and Features

The FX Maverick is a bullpup configured precharged pneumatic airgun, available in several calibers. The stock is based on an aluminum frame with a tactical design that accepts several standard third-party components, which allows for further customization. There’s a Picatinny scope rail and another mounted between the trigger assembly and the air bottle for mounting a bipod or other accessories.
One feature on the Maverick that stands out is the two adjustable AMP regulators that work in tandem. The first regulates the air delivered to the second regulator, which improves consistency. It depends on the configuration, but one option includes the 98-cc Power Plenum, which allows an even higher energy output, and this gun works particularly well with the FX Hybrid Slug. The use of the FX Superior STX Standard Liner in the shrouded barrel facilitates a high degree of intrinsic accuracy, and along with the ergonomic stock design and the adjustable match grade FX trigger, helps the shooter maximize the gun’s potentials.
While not as adjustable as the FX Impact, the Maverick utilizes an easily accessible power adjuster that’s situated behind the breech that the FX Wildcat MKIII utilizes. This is coupled with an adjustable hammer that allows you to easily dial in the gun. You can then adjust the Dual AMP Regulators for the various Maverick FX는 무엇인가 caliber options or to optimize performance for a specific projectile.
The tactile cocking handle and buttery smooth sidelever action permits rapid follow up shots when needed. And the positioning of the sidelever makes this possible without breaking your cheekweld. You can also set the adjustable match grade trigger at a low weight that’ll break like a glass rod, and the ergonomic post and blade configuration provide excellent contact for the finger pad.
Testing the FX Maverick in the Field
I’ve been shooting the FX Maverick for over a year and have taken it on many hunting trips ranging from rabbits to (small) feral hogs and have a great deal of confidence in it as a field gun. Recently, I sat down at the bench with howling North Texas winds and shot a few groups before heading out on a hog hunt. I decided to shoot the FX Hybrid Slugs, a purpose-designed airgun slug. I believed they would perform well enough to penetrate the thick skull of a hog and suspected they might be more stable in high winds.

After re-zeroing the gun, I noticed that the POI (point of impact) of the slugs sat about two inches from the JSB Exact pellets’ POI. I put a 10-shot string across the chronograph and averaged 840 fps with an 8-fps variation for a power output of approximately 70 ft-lb. This is excellent consistency, which contributed to accurate shooting, and allowed me to put five slugs Maverick FX는 무엇인가 into a one-inch group at 50 yards in high winds.

In the field, I had the opportunity to drop the crosshairs on a 30-pound pig early one morning. At 45 yards, I aimed just behind the ear and let the pellet fly. On impact, the hog dropped like the proverbial brick and didn’t move. This gun is a proven shooter in the field and at the range.
What the FX Maverick Does Worst
This is still an expensive rifle, so you’ll have to lay down a significant chunk of change to own one. And once you’re in this price strata, it’s worth the extra couple hundred bucks to invest in Maverick FX는 무엇인가 the Impact. If you really want the adjustability of the Impact and plan to focus on competitive shooting, it’s the better option. Even though the FX Maverick is easier to set up than the Impact, if you start to fiddle with the settings a certain amount of finesse is required to keep the two regulators in balance.
While I’m just nit-picking at this point, I wish the safety was further forward. Everything else on this gun has an ergonomic design, so it bugs me to reach back into a blind spot to operate the safety lever. Still, this isn’t a major issue, and I had to stretch to find something I’d change about this gun.
What the FX Maverick Does Best
This is a high-performance rig for those that want to shoot rather than tinker. What I mean is that it performs well out of the box in several applications, and you don’t have to spend time tweaking it to perfection. At the same time, you can fine-tune it within limits. However, if you’re a benchrest shooter that weighs and resizes your pellets, times your shots, and sets up wind indicators along the shooting lanes, you might prefer the Impact over the Maverick. But if you want to grab the gun and go hunting, and maybe shoot a competition now and again, the Maverick is the way to go.
In my experience the FX Maverick excels as a small game gun but has the shoulders to lean into longer shots and bigger quarry when necessary. It’s compact and ergonomic, which makes it easy to carry and deploy even in tight shooting spaces. But it also has the accuracy for competitive shooting if you decide Maverick FX는 무엇인가 to test your marksmanship that way.

Final Thoughts on the FX Maverick
The FX Maverick has just about everything you want in an ergonomic and extremely accurate bullpup. While it’s expensive, the gun does have the ability to add additional calibers, specialty barrels, and third-party components, which might negate the need to buy multiple guns and save you money in the long run. I think that If I was limited to one gun, the Maverick would make my short list.

The 2022 Ford Maverick FX4 Package Is Surprisingly Expensive
It is possible to get a great deal on the Ford Maverick as a little work truck. However, if you want the 2022 Ford Maverick to have a little more muscle and be equipped for off-roading, the price could quickly climb. The Maverick FX4 trim comes with an expensive price tag.
Is the 2022 Ford Maverick FX4 package worth buying?
2022 Ford Maverick FX4 Package | Ford
Yes, the 2022 Ford Maverick FX4 package is worth buying. The FX4 package follows in the footsteps of other Ford trucks with reliable off-roading upgrades. It’s available with the F-150 and Ranger.
If you opt for the Ford Maverick FX4 package, you get off-road suspension tuning. The all-wheel drive Maverick has a unique rear suspension that borrows a lot from the Ford Bronco Sport because they share the same platform.
It has an independent multi-link trailing arm setup and monotube shacks with hydraulic rebound stops. It’s supported by a steel subframe with a stabilizer bar and cast knuckles. With all-wheel drive you get twin-tube units instead of monotube dampers.
You also get 17-inch wheels, 235/65R17 all-terrain tires, skip plates, and hill descent control. Off-roading focused drive modes include Mud/Rut and Sand. The front suspension remains the same MacPherson strut style independent suspension with twin-tube dampers, a stabilizer bar, and cast knuckles.
But it’s missing a locking differential, low-ranger transfer case, and trail control. If you want a compact truck for hardcore off-roading, then the Ford Ranger Tremor might be a better choice.
How much does the Maverick FX4 package cost?
The official price for the 2022 Ford Maverick FX4 package hasn’t been released. But here’s why we already think it’s expensive. The FX4 package is only available with the Maverick XLT or Lariat trims.
The XLT trim costs about $23,775 to get started with, and the Lariat raises the price to about $26,985. Then you will need to add $1,085 for the 2.0-liter engine, and all-wheel drive adds another $3,305 on top of that.
So, with the XLT trim, you’re looking at $28,165 before the price of the FX4 package is added. It could cost over $800. Also, on this note, if you opt for the 2.0-liter engine, then the towing package costs $745 to add.
Can the Ford Maverick Hybrid go off-roading?
2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid XLT | Ford
Most people are attracted to the 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid because it has an MSRP of $19,995. But the standard hybrid engine can’t be equipped with the towing package or all-wheel drive.
The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is paired with an electric motor to generate 191 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque. It can tow up to 2,000 lbs and carry a payload of up to 1,500 lbs. This all seems adequate.
But with the more expensive 2.0-liter turbo I-4 engine, you get 250 hp Maverick FX는 무엇인가 and 277 lb-ft of torque. You can also add AWD and the towing package. It can tow up to 4,000 lbs. So, we recommend picking this option to do real work with the Maverick, and we will keep you updated about the price of the FX4 package.

You basically pay a lot of money for education, of which isn't that great. Research this, you can get a lot more capitol elsewhere with a lot less startup cost. You can get all this education on YouTube. It's all basic stuff you can learn on your own. 3000.00 startup fee + 199/month. The demo is another loop to jump through, which is fine, but after you do so, you give them another 2000, and you trade it the same way you would do if you were trading on your own account, except that you give away part of your profits to them! Would stay away from them one.
Guys, these are real reviews. I'm only 1/3 thru training and I can feel the transformation already. I joined Maverick because I basically gave up and thought my trading career was going to be with robots only (Maverick FX는 무엇인가 I did make a kick a** bot portfolio, though). When you trade with bots, what is the point of monitoring the markets? With bots, I no longer have a reason to get up early and trade the GBP news or sit down at my computer and trade the FOMC meetings. NFP Friday isn't very special when you trade with bots. Why worry bout big moves and try to trade them? My bots all do that for me. That is not cool and I feel like I'm in that Bruce Willis movie, Surrogate (horrible movie, don't watch it). I'm just a bot manager, not a trader. Now I can see that there is training out there that can really ignite my trading and get me to the next level. Sorry if I'm sounding like I'm a Maverick salesman. I'm not. Just really feeling blessed I now have a clear path at getting my trading where I need it be and a way to obtain the capital when I'm ready.
Being successful at FX has nothing to do with leverage or understanding charts. Being part of a valuable team is key.
I have been trading FX for about 8 years, and I joined Maverick last year for a few reasons. First of all, it's true that they only have 50:1 leverage, just like anyone can get in the U.S., but as a Level 1 trader, I provided $2000 into an account, and the firm put up $8000, so that makes the leverage substantially better. Secondly, they have a great group of traders that meet with everyone several times a week to discuss the markets and Maverick FX는 무엇인가 upcoming announcements and events, and then they give out actual trade alerts to let everyone know what they are going to be trading. I've always done decent with my trading, but I was surprised how much I learned and improved with these guys. I was up over 3400 pips for 2016, which is great. And the last thing is that they have an awesome risk-management team that is always looking over your shoulder, just in case you do something stupid, and they are always available for questions or concerns. Can't say enough good things about the guys running this shop. Well done!
found Maverick Trading through Careerbuilder
I found Maverick through Career Builder, which i thought was a bit odd. I am supposed to get a call from a recruiter in a few days for a "suitability" interview. I've read that the fees for the FX division that seem a bit less. Anyone here know what they are currently?
I've trading a bit before and I have to say I wasn't all that good when I look back on it. lol The first thing Maverick did was force me to actually develop a system, back test it and then demo trade it. I just wanted to trade with their capital. lol Turns out I had a lot of work to do and they forced me to do the actual work to become a trader. Thank god. I can now honestly say I make money consistently as a trader.
